Adira couldn't help it, even if Londo and Alexia had both said to stay away from Refa... she had to comment on this. It was too amusing.

As I hear from the "girls" there are far more skilled "swords" to be had at court.

Sure it was a small jab at his pride but he would get over it.

OOC: Refa would probably know alot about Adira's past... SHe spent most of her time as a slave (10 years) as a pleasure slave and assassin. She is known for seducing and killing high ranking men... and is constantly being accused of having affairs with men in the court. One of the courtiers has nicknamed her "the Court's Whore" much to Londo's anger.

Refa is taken aback by her advances. He knew of her reputation in the Royal Court as an assassin and seductress. Could she really be interested in him? Granted....being Prime Minister did impress many Centauri women; however, it also attracted the sneaky ones that were looking for incriminating information to sell to the highest bidder.

Still, Refa could feel the stirring in his shirt. Great Maker.....he could see why Londo and others had fallen for the young lady's beauty and charms. He hoped that she couldn't detect his discomfort.

Unknown to others, Refa had worked very hard to cultivate strong control over his emotions, but around women his usual control would weaken or disappear. Using all his strength, he tried to hide his emotions behind humor and cockyness

Then it is a date. I'll be arriving on Mars next week also for.....affairs of state, yes, for the Emperor. How can I contact you when I arrive on the planet?

There is something hopelessly flattering about being considered an "affair of state".

Adira winks at him.

Come to the Hornet's Nest and tell them you are looking for "The Centauri Angel".

With a very pleasant smile.

And Prime Minister come there yourself... sending guards could make a woman think you aren't interested.


OOC: The Hornet's Nest is basically one of the most dangerous bars on the colony filled wih assassins and other less savory types of people. Most of the Centauri assassins on the colony conduct business in it's back rooms.

Refa chuckled....she had to pick a place that no Centauri noble would ever chance entering for fear of ambush, but Refa had never been afraid of risk. It had been this characteristic that had gotten him this far. Yes, he would play the girl's game....for now.

My royal guardsmen are a nice decoration that comes with the Prime Minister's position, but I wouldn't want you to doubt my intentions....plus I could use an evening without being watched or having all attention focused on me.

I will follow your instructions to the letter. Just make sure that you don't decide to back out at the last minute....I do so hate to be as the humans say "stood up."

Refa gives a slight bow

Refa ended the tranmission and leaned back in his chair pondering what could happen on Mars in a week's time. While part of him suspected that he was running a crazy risk, the other part told him that he was in for delightful and exciting evening.

Adira watched the screen go dark with delight. Londo and Alexia would be furious if they found out what she was doing but chances are they wouldn't. She had been planning for weeks to go to Mars to see her friends from Earth no one would suspect otherwise.

Adira really is scheduled to go to Mars but Refa.. well that was something that just appeared... besides holy gods will this add to Londo's desire to kill him come Adira's death..

I figure knowing Refa he would have sought her out eventually.
